User Agreement for Clockwork

Welcome to Clockwork. This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your access to and use of the Clockwork web application ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement, you may not use the Service.

Clockwork is managed and operated by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Description of the Service

Clockwork is a web application designed to allow employees of the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur to view and manage their daily time input collected from biometric scanner devices.

2. Eligibility

The Service is available exclusively to employees of the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur. Access to the Service requires registration through the Provincial Information and Communications Technology Office. Employees must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service solely for its intended purpose of viewing and managing attendance data.
• Provide accurate and updated information, including your email, mobile number, and, where applicable, your digital signature.
• Protect your login credentials and maintain the confidentiality of your account.
• Notify us immediately at administrator@davaodelsur.gov.ph if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Service.

Prohibited Actions:

You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Share, distribute, or disclose the data available through the Service to unauthorized individuals or parties.
• Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt the operation of the Service.

4. Data Usage and Privacy

The use of Clockwork is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

We do not share your personal data with any third parties and strictly use it for internal purposes within the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur.

5. Third-Party Services

Clockwork uses Google and Facebook for OAuth authentication. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these providers.

6. Availability and Modifications

We strive to ensure uninterrupted access to the Service but do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free.

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue the Service, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. Update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users through appropriate channels. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

8. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the integrity, functionality, or reputation of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the Philippines.
